Established in 2015, Digital Frontiers (DF) is a not-for-profit capacity building specialist organisation headquartered in Africa and focused on building human capacity aligned with achieving the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals. To date we have built and implemented comprehensive capacity building programmes that support the acceleration of global initiatives in digital financial services and financial inclusion, gender equality and inclusive digital economies.
Our funders both past and present include The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Omidyar Networks (Flourish Ventures), FSD Africa and MasterCard Foundation. Digital Frontiers has a hybrid business model that includes commercial activities so that we too can co-fund our initiatives while establishing ourselves as a sustainable organisation.
Empowering you to build the capabilities and
human connections to create a better future
As an organisation our vision is to have empowered 35 000 unique professionals with the capabilities and human connections needed to help achieve the SDGs by 2030 and create a future that is more equitable and inclusive, particularly in low-to-middle income countries in the Global South.
We will achieve our vision by supporting the emergence of new and bridge professions. We will equip these professionals with the skills, knowledge, network and confidence they require through exceptional learning experiences, opportunities for continuous professional development and connecting them to a global network of peers.
Join Our Growing Team
At Digital Frontiers we are always looking for ‘unicorns’ to join our growing organisation. We have a global team of over 150 in over 36 countries all working with a common purpose – to make the world a better place. Whilst we do have a list of vacancies you can peruse, and we may be on the lookout for certain skills to fit those vacancies, we also pride ourselves on hiring the person, not the skillset – as Gavin likes to say, ‘if cauliflower can be pizza, you can be anything,’. As an organisation we also pride ourselves in having built a culture that embraces and fosters diversity and inclusion – we really do practice what we teach! If you want to know more, you can view our current vacancies or get in touch.
