who we are

what we do

We believe in driving an eco-system of problem solvers. We are the platform for the workforce for good.

We pride ourselves on being a trusted partner to the development sector, co-creating and implementing programmes that have proven impact. We do that by enabling our clients, donors, partners, and everyday people in the global south with the capabilities and human connections they need to create a better future.

Established as a non-profit organisation, we have a global team across Africa, Asia, United States of America, United Kingdom and Europe. Our funders both past and present include The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Omidyar Networks (Flourish Ventures), FSD Africa, UNCDF and MasterCard Foundation. We have a hybrid business model that includes commercial activities so that we too can co-fund our initiatives while establishing ourselves as a sustainable organisation.

We co-create future skills & redefine capabilities while connecting ecosystems that establish opportunities for work for good.

We co-create future skills by establishing a body of evidence to support for-good innovations, entrepreneurs and industries, as well as architecting interventions and programming to stimulate or execute job-creating ecosystems for good.

To prepare for the future of work, we need to redefine the capabilities of our workforce. The reality is, 85% of jobs will be new by 2030, requiring widespread re-skilling. This is especially crucial for young people, with 375 million entering the African job market alone in the next six years, pushing the global workforce beyond one billion.

We connect ecosystems by partnering to develop a shared understanding regarding the evolving future jobs in Africa, and the skills needed to execute these future jobs.

We establish opportunities for work for good by establishing interventions and programming that mobilises and empowers the workforce for good with the skills and human connections they need to solve the world’s greatest challenges.

Donors recognise the value we bring through technical assistance, programme management, and bespoke consulting.
