Our solution to Wellspring involved upskilling agribusinesses to build, interpret and interrogate financial models for agribusinesses, emphasising their importance for assessing business viability, growth and investment potential. We delivered a facilitated eLearning courses, hosting and setting up a branded Learner Management System to house the courses, and assisting with the facilitation of the course and administering certificates.Impact
The Introduction to Agri-finance Modelling for non-financial Professionals course had a pass rate of 70%, this course enabled students to build, interpret and interrogate financial models for agribusinesses. The Agri-Innovations: From Development to Scale (IDRC) course is an expert-led course with a pass rate of 81%. It was customised for scientists and researchers by Professor David Dent and provided an essential foundation for enabling agri-innovations to be commercially sustainable.

Our solution to Mercy Corps included training field supervisors on implementing sustainable savings groups through the Private Service Provider (PSP) model, which prepares agents to become independent service providers operating on a market-led basis. Digital Frontiers crafted a new online course, Implementing sustainable savings groups through the Private Service Provider model: Training for field supervisors in English and French, delivered on the client's LMS platform.

We enable WHO to build the capabilities of WHO staff and country ministry of health officials at the intersection of health and payments. Our solution entailed a multifaceted project that included curating and creating an eLearning course, “Digital Payments for Healthcare Workers: Lessons from Leading Experience,” hosting the course on our Learner Management System, and assisting with its facilitation.

We enabled BTCA to scale awareness of the 9 Principles for Responsible Digital Payments and how stakeholders can apply them within their own context to contribute to an inclusive and responsible digital payments ecosystem. This project entailed building and delivering a course on UN Responsible Digital Payments to a potential of 5000 participants globally on a customised Learner Management System.

We enabled the Accion programme on Board Leadership for Impact to provide guidance, knowledge, and resources to assist founders of early-stage entities in setting up the first board for their enterprise. We delivered an asynchronous course to educate founders and leaders of young companies on the importance of having a board of directors and how to recruit and establish one.

We enable data.org's mission to build data science for social impact capabilities in social impact organisations around the world. We delivered a semi-synchronous course in Responsible Data Management to provide social impact organisation workers and other stakeholders in the social impact space with guidance on what responsible data is and how to employ responsible data practices within their work and their own organisations.
Our solution
We've partnered with CDPI to scale the local professional capacity of countries to understand, design, implement and drive policy frameworks for digital public infrastructure as the foundation for truly inclusive digital economies. Addressing the scarcity of experienced talent capable of DPI development, CDPI and DF delivers an online course focused on scaling digital infrastructure ‘for good’ or in line with global and national public policy objectives by identifying and equipping local facilitators across 15 countries. By doing so, the initiative builds DPI capacity, fostering inclusive growth and enhancing socio-economic conditions.

A new partnership between Digital Frontiers and FinEquity Africa, marked by the appointment of Tariro Nyimo, our Head of Stakeholder Engagement and Fundraising, as the new Regional Facilitator for FinEquity Africa. Together, Digital Frontiers and FinEquity Africa aim to advance the breadth and depth of women’s financial inclusion to enhance women’s economic empowerment. Digital Frontiers' Institute has been acknowledge as an official knowledge partner to FinEquity Africa with joint objectives of expanding networks, deepening local, regional and global learning and collaboration as well as enhance knowledge exchange around women’s financial inclusion.Wellspring helps transform food systems and agricultural value chains to deliver a positive impact. Their work helps increase the dietary diversity of the poor, drive climate mitigation and adaptation, enhance gender equality, and contribute to economic development.
