Jacinta is the Founder and Lead Consultant at In Trade Africa, a boutique consultancy firm specialising in Tax and Customs with a strong focus on regional integration. She provides strategic advisory services to regional and continental private sector platforms, shaping trade policy and influencing economic development agendas, particularly through the implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
She currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of the All-Africa Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (AAASME), where she champions the advancement of African SMEs and their integration into continental and global value chains. Her leadership ensures that SMEs—including those led by women and youth entrepreneurs—are central to Africa’s growth story and not sidelined in the AfCFTA era. She also occasionally serves as AfCFTA Advisor to the East Africa Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture.
Jacinta is recognised as an expert in regional integration, trade facilitation, financial inclusion, SME development and the inclusion of women and youth in entrepreneurship and trade. She is a trusted advisor to governments, private sector leaders and development partners, bridging technical frameworks with on-the-ground realities.
