These learning experiences have enhanced my capacity as a regulator and overseer of the rapidly evolving digital payment ecosystem in Liberia. The knowledge acquired facilitated the development and amendment of several regulations and guidelines (Guidelines Concerning Digital Credit, Regulations Concerning Agent Banking) etc. Additionally, Certification from the Digital Frontiers Institute enabled the conduct of a comprehensive Feasibility Study and Business Case development for our Instant Payments System (Switch), a project currently ongoing.
