Aygen Beauty Gyamfuah, Ghana

This Programme has truly changed my life. It opened doors I never imagined possible and helped me discover a new world beyond what I thought was within reach. As a deaf woman, I’ve often been told what I can’t do, but this experience reminded me of what I can become. Before joining, I had different plans, but being part of the Programme shifted my path entirely. I found a deep interest in digital finance and began to see how I could belong and thrive in that space.

Amensisa Korie, Ethiopia

The programme on instant and inclusive payment systems enabled Amensisa to implement innovative and scalable financial solutions at DIGAF Microfinance, targeting underbanked and underserved communities, and addressing financial exclusion. The programme equipped him with the skills to overcome challenges such as cybersecurity risks, gender barriers, and liquidity issues. It also provided him with knowledge about real-time transactions, cost-efficient solutions, and eliminating intermediaries, which were crucial for developing new banking solutions and agency banking models.

The lessons, case studies, and expert insights have helped me think more critically and creatively about solving real financial challenges. It has also boosted my confidence and given me new ideas that I can apply in my current work and future career in the financial sector.

Tesfaye Admassie, Ethiopia

Tesfaye gained valuable knowledge about digital banking and financial inclusion. This education enabled him to contribute effectively to the development and operation of Apollo, a digital bank within the Bank of Abyssinia. The programme helped him understand the intricacies of digital banking, customer support, and the importance of inclusiveness in financial services.
