Alka Gupta

Alka Gupta is Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Board of Digital Frontiers NPC. She is a former F500 executive, tech entrepreneur, and venture investor with experience in digital transformation, fintech, marketplaces, and regtech. Alka has operated in B2B and B2C markets across more than ten countries, and served as a Venture Partner at Fin Capital and Eight Capital Management. Previously, she was the Co-Founder and President of GlobaliD, a venture-backed, interoperable identity platform leveraging the blockchain. She has held senior positions at eBay/PayPal, Retrevo (acq: BN), and Lycos (Nasdaq: LCOS, acq: Telefonica).

Alka is committed to democratising access and empowering populations through technology. She holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a B.S. (cum laude) from Case Western Reserve University. She serves on the boards of National Bank Holding Corporation (Nyse: NBHC,) Dwolla Payments (Foundry and Union Square Ventures, Chair of Risk Committee,) and previously, MoneyGram (Nasdaq: MGI.)
